1.1 By making payment and booking a bicycle/E-bike you agree to read and understand the terms and conditions of your hire with Jura Cycles.

 

1.2 Both bicycles and E-bikes can only be hired from Jura Cycles on completion of a hire agreement form.

 

1.3 Jura Cycles reserves the right to take and hold a deposit as security until the bike(s) is/are returned in the condition it was hired out in.

 

1.4 All bookings are subject to availability.

 

1.5 The period of hire begins the moment the bike(s) is collected and continues until the moment the bike(s) is retuned to Jura Cycles.

 

Hirers terms and conditions 

 

2.1 You are responsible for ensuring you are physically fit and healthy enough to undertake any cycling activities on the bike(s). Jura Cycles does not accept any responsibility for death, personal injury, loss or damage to personal effects to any participant.

 

2.2 You accept that cycling on public roads/paths carries its own risks and you have undertaken the rental agreement at your own risk. You accept that Jura Cycles advises the wearing of helmets at all times when cycling.

 

2.3 You will ride your bike(s) responsibly at all times. You will not hold Jura Cycles responsible for any loss, damage or injury including death to persons or property with regard to the use of the bike/e-bike(s) hired. You accept responsibility to indemnify Jura Cycles against any claim, interest, demand or expense in respect of such injury or damage.

 

2.4 You are responsible for all bikes and equipment hired and it is your responsibility to keep these items safe from damage, loss or theft, use it in a proper manner and not subject it to any misuse or any unfair wear and tear.

 

2.5 Any damage caused due to crash or neglect is the customer’s responsibility and will be charged for accordingly.

 

2.6 Bikes/e-Bikes must NOT be used on the beach. Such activity will result in termination of rental with no refund given.

 

2.7 Bikes/e-Bikes are rented out clean and in proper working condition and must be returned in the same manner. Instructions will be provided for the use of e-Bikes including the particularity of the electric assist technology, battery charging etc.

 

2.8 The customer has checked and is happy that the bike(s) are in good safe working order and will return the bike in the same condition. Minor wear and tear is acceptable. Where punctures occur, Jura Cycles will do their best to assist in any which way possible.

 

2.9 You must not cycle under the influence of alcohol, drugs or fatigue.
